Menubar Sites
Websites in your menu bar · macOS 13 or later · coming soon to the Mac App Store
Menubar Sites keeps the sites you check all day — chat, mail, music, a dashboard — one click away in your Mac's menu bar.
Each site gets its own menubar icon. Click it and the site drops down in a popover, right where you left it, already signed in. Click away and it's gone. No browser window to hunt for, no tab to lose.
Made to be glanced at
- Open with a click — or give a page a global shortcut and summon it from inside any app.
- Pin a popup to keep it open while you work; unpinned popups get out of the way the moment you click elsewhere.
- Auto-refresh keeps dashboards current even while the popup is closed.
Shaped like an app
Size each page like a phone or a tablet and switch its user agent, and sites that offer a mobile layout start feeling like the app they never shipped. Zoom is one keystroke: ⌘+, ⌘−, ⌘0.
More than a popover
Detach any page into a floating window with ⌘D — same page, no reload — move it where you like, keep it on top of everything, and send it back to the menu bar when you're done.
Your menu bar, your way
- Separate icons you can ⌘-drag into order, or a compact group that puts every page in a single slim strip.
- Icons show each site's favicon or a symbol you pick — or go mono so nothing in your menu bar gives your pages away.
Private by design
- No account, no analytics, no tracking. The app talks only to the sites you add — never to us.
- Logins, cookies, and caches stay on your Mac, sandboxed, with each page kept separate (macOS 14 and later). Clear one page's data any time.
- Closing a page deletes its data for good.
